The FIGC will investigate claims made by Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini that he was threatened by referee Luca Pairetto.

According to ANSA, the investigation will be headed by FIGC prosecutor Giuseppe Pecoraro, who recently studied tapes of Juventus boss Max Allegri speaking to fourth official Paolo Tagliavento after the Bianconeri’s controversial 3-2 win at Inter.

Gasperini claimed before Atalanta’s 1-1 draw with Milan on Sunday that he was issued a warning by Pairetto during his side’s 3-1 victory over Genoa and told he would be the VAR for their next match against Lazio, where the Coach was sent off.
