Italy have climbed four places to 13th in the FIFA rankings, while Belgium go top for the first time in their history.

The updated rankings were published on the world governing body’s official website today, with an improved performance for Antonio Conte’s side.

The Azzurri have moved up from 17th to 13th after recent Euro 2016 qualifying wins against Azerbajian and Norway.

However, they remain somewhat distant from the top places, with 1040 ranking points compared to Belgium’s 1440.
