The rambunctious President will face his former Coach in tonight's Coppa Italia clash in what could be a decisive clash for the Rossoneri's future.

Mihajlovic enjoys limited confidence within the Milan environment and today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests he may be sacked if he does not win tonight's game.

“I've always appreciated Sinisa, as a man and as a Coach,” said Ferrero, as reported by La Gazzetta. “You can say whatever you like about him, but not that he isn't a genuine person and a great worker.

“But on the pitch you don't reason with your heart, rather with your head, your legs, and the sweat from your brow. So may the best man win.

“Having said that, I notice with great surprise that in four months, Sinisa has been demoted from general to captain within the Milan ranks. Perhaps his certainties have been shaken.

“For example, I read that this time he plans on fielding his best XI in the Coppa Italia, while back when he was my general he gave space to those who played the least, to keep the team driven.

“It's understandable that he should fear us, but what a change.”
