Sampdoria's Ciro Ferrara is another Coach looking to put emotions to one side when he meets a former club this weekend

Ferrara, who was born in Naples and spent ten years as a Napoli player, will be reunited with the Vesuviani when they visit the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday afternoon.

“Napoli are a great team, a Scudetto contender in my opinion,” the former Italy Under 21 boss commented in an interview with Il Roma.

“But on Sunday I'll try and be very cold in terms of my feelings, my story with Napoli and my origins.

“Now I am at the helm of an important team that is doing good things. You have to know how to manage your feelings in the right way.”

Surprisingly the game pits second against third, as Ferrara's newly promoted Samp are just three points behind their Neapolitan visitors.
