That hasn’t stopped speculation that the 22-year-old was talking about a move away from the Biancocelesti in the January transfer window.
English media claimed today that Manchester United are offering €48m [£35m] plus wages of over €135,000 per week.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport maintains that the Aquile already rejected offers of €50m in the summer, and are unwilling to accept any less than that in January.
Despite that, President Claudio Lotito is not ruling out a sale as the Lazio squad needs investment, which could be funded by a big transfer fee for Anderson, Lucas Biglia or Antonio Candreva.
