Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici confirms Jonathan Calleri’s move to Inter will be finalised “later this week”.

The player himself has already confirmed that only his signature is required, but the Xeinezes patron admitted he could stay in Argentina until July, rather than join Bologna on loan as expected.

“The deal for Calleri is very advanced,” Calleri revealed following a Press conference to unveil new Boca signings Leonardo Jara and Jonathan Silva.

“We’ll definitely close it later this week. We’re just waiting for the documentation which the UIF [Unidad de Información Financiera] requires to verify the origin of the money.

“Inter want him in July, so the choice is the player’s. He can stay here for another six months or play at Bologna.

“Maybe he’ll decide he prefers to move immediately.”
