Inter director Marco Fassone admits that Wolfsburg were ‘one of the strongest in the draw’ after drawing them in the Europa League.
The Nerazzurri face the German side in the Last 16 of the competition, with the first leg at Volkswagen Arena on March 12.
“We’re superstitious, we made sure not to touch the trophy!” Fassone said in an interview with Mediaset after the draw.
“Wolfsburg are a tough opponent, one of the strongest in the draw, but not a frightening one. This shows that the Europa League is growing.
