Radamel Falcao repeats it is ‘an honour’ to be linked to Milan but insists he is happy at Monaco.

The Colombian forward has been touted for a summer transfer to the Rossoneri.

However, speaking after his country’s goalless draw with Egypt as they continued their World Cup preparations, the 32-year-old said his current thoughts are only on his international side.

“I have already said that it’s an honour they are thinking of me,” Falcao commented.

However, speaking after his country’s goalless draw with Egypt as they continued their World Cup preparations, the 32-year-old said his current thoughts are only on his international side.

“I have already said that it’s an honour they are thinking of me,” Falcao commented.

“But I need to respect my club, Monaco. I have two years of contract there.

“Right now, I am thinking about the World Cup. Serie A is a very attractive League, but for now I am happy in Ligue 1.

“It depends a lot on the sporting project they have there.”

Falcao scored 24 goals in all competitions last season as Monaco finished as runners up to Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.
