The Rosanero didn’t win a single match in October, leading to speculation that fiery President Maurizio Zamparini will make yet another change on the bench.
“We’re behind the Coach,” Faggiano assured in a Press conference today.
“It’s normal that the fans just look at the results, but we can compete against the big and the small teams. We just need an injection of confidence.

“We’ve had some messages, but we’ve definitely not called any Coaches because we’re convinced about De Zerbi.
“I’ve said that we won't talk about the transfer market until December 31 and the same goes for Coaches. Maybe if we win the next 10 games we can talk about something else…
“If we’re hurting then it’s everyone’s fault, it’s too easy to get rid of a Coach or director and say ‘that’s how it is at Palermo’.
“We’ll be happy if it goes well against Milan, we have this hoodoo on us at home and it causes a lot of pressure.
“I can rule out a sacking even if it goes badly, because we’re working and we won’t talk about anything else. You can’t cross a bridge before you come to it.
“Some other Coaches have sent us messages, which is nice, but I haven’t called anyone.
“Don’t blame the President if you’re telling us to change Coach all the time and he changes 10 a year…
“We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but it’s not easy for anyone. Look at Inter, they’ve changed two Coaches already.”
