Facundo Gonzalez arrived at J-Medical this morning to carry out his medicals before completing his transfer to Juventus.

The 20-year-old Uruguayan defender, who shined at the U-20 World Cup, is joining the Bianconeri in a unique low-cost deal – Valencia will receive around €350-400,000 immediately and various add-ons have been attached, totally around €3m. A 20% future resale clause has also been included.

Gonzalez is ready to sign a five-year contract with Juventus, worth around €600,000 net per season. Considered one for the future, he will not stay in Turin long after putting pen to paper on his contract.

Calciomercato.com highlights how Gonzalez arrived for his medicals with Juventus this morning and once these are completed, he’ll sign his five-year deal.

After this, he’ll quickly leave the club on loan, with Salernitana, Hellas Verona and Monza all interested in picking him up. The Bianconeri are keen for him to continue his development and gain experience in Serie A.
