Cesc Fabregas will reportedly arrive in Italy tomorrow to undergo his medicals ahead of a free transfer to Serie B side Como.

The 35-year-old Spanish midfielder is currently a free agent after his contract expired with Monaco earlier this month, ending a three-year association with the Principality side. With his career already spanning across Spain, England and France, Fabregas is keen to experience one more adventure before his retirement.

As highlighted by Fabrizio Romano, Fabregas is expected to arrive in Italy early tomorrow in order to carry out the usual pre-transfer medicals with Serie B side Como. Should everything go to plan, he’ll put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the second tier side.

Como’s stadium, the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, is directly on the banks of the idyllic Lake Como, so Fabregas will certainly be able to enjoy his home games in style. The team finished 13th in Serie B last campaign.
