Sky Sport Italia reports Cesc Fabregas is eager to work with Milan starlet Luka Romero at Como and is in talks with the Argentinean who is also wanted by Lecce.

Romero joined Milan on a free transfer from Lazio last summer but has only collected 155 minutes across five appearances with the Serie A giants this season.

He was an unused substitute in their 3-0 win over Empoli at the Stadio Castellani Computer Gross Arena on Sunday.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, Fabreas is an admirer of the 19-year-old who is under contract at the Stadio Meazza until June 2027.

Di Marzio says Fabregas is in talks with the player and is trying to persuade him to join Como who sit third in Serie B.

It is not clear if Como are interested in a loan or a permanent transfer. Lecce are also said to be interested in Romero, who scored one goal in 21 appearances with Lazio before last summer’s Milan transfer.
