Diego Fabbrini’s agent has dismissed speculation linking his client with a move out of Udinese this January.

The young playmaker impressed last season for Serie B side Empoli when co-owned between the Zebrette, but since the Udine side bought up the rest of his contract, the 21-year-old has struggled to make the jump to Serie A, only playing a bit-part under Francesco Guidolin.

Rumours this month persist that the youngster will return to Italy’s second tier, with Torino suggested as a likely destination. However, the player’s agent believes otherwise.

“There is no suggestion of the immediate departure of Fabbrini.,” declared Giuseppe Galli. “Udinese have kept him happy and certainly he does not want to step in the direction of any transfer.

Torino? I think this is hypotheses rather than news, we have not permitted such a proposition. Torino is an important team, but Diego is in Udinese and will stay there.”
