There are now five fixtures planned for this weekend that have been postponed due to the lack of players available amid COVID outbreaks.
The matches called off after Manchester United-Brighton, Southampton-Brentford, Watford-Crystal Palace, West Ham-Norwich and Everton-Leicester.
It comes after Leicester City-Tottenham was called off last night just over two hours before it was due to kick off.

This evening, Liverpool and Chelsea announced they had new cases too, as Fabinho, Curtis Jones and Virgil van Dijk tested positive, while Lukaku, Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell were all out for the Blues.
Questions surely must be asked about the level of vaccination in the Premier League, especially after a report emerged from the EFL showing that 25 per cent of its players had no intention of getting vaccinated.
While there have been a few cases in Serie A in recent weeks, they were relatively isolated and asymptomatic.
The remarkable thing about the Premier League situation is how much the spread goes straight through the squad.
Manchester United alone had 19 positive tests between players and members of staff.
This can’t be. Lukaku got vaccinated before the Euros. Surely there has been some sort of mistake. Unless… The vaccine is not nearly as effective as advertised, or indeed, does not stop transmission at all? But sure, lets continue to blame the normal, I mean unvaccinated, players for this.
Luigi, or….GASP…. the virus mutates? Or….GASP….vaccines eventually wear off, like the flu vaccine you take every year (or not it seems). Or…GASP….players/clubs lied about vaccination status? The English have been filling their stadiums and going out and doing whatever they want for months longer than the rest of Europe. Clearly, the chickens are now coming home to roost. But no worries, don’t get your vaccine. When you’re choking on Covid you should be denied medical help (or insurance coverage), to free up beds for people who are trying to defeat this. Maybe if you drank more holy water…

Vietnam went on a REAL full lockdown for a month with people HELPING with it and then they lived happily without masks and problems for a year until they opened their borders again, and idiots around the world carried the virus back in.
Not every people have to study and learn about immunology, but surely they better keep quiet and don’t give false information to others when they have no idea how vaccination, virus, and the immune system works.
Just like you shouldn’t talk about how to land a plane when you have no knowledge, and yes, there are plane crashes, but still, you don’t know more than the pilot who crashed a plane, Nor the Info we have about Aerospace is a lie. And despite crashes, we still keep having and improving planes. that’s how things work, you get better. not crying like a little quitter or a loser. nothing is perfect, and we try to get better.
It’s just, there is some stuff in this world that you don’t understand. but you shouldn’t cry over that this thing doesn’t exist at all.

Weell, some people did not learn at school that 1 plus 1 equals 2 and then they are amazed why the sum of 1and 1 is not 3 or 4. Other people (or may be the same?..) did not learn that the vaccine does not prevent contamination or spread of the virus but does protect the vaccinated inividual from severe desease and then they are stunned why vaccinated people can get sick. So ridiculous.
