Following the loss to the Neroverdi, the Old Lady are in 11th place and announced that they will go to a training retreat until Saturday’s derby, which Evra believes is the right decision.

“Yesterday wasn’t the real Juve,” the Frenchman told Sky Sport.

“We can’t give performances like the one against Atalanta and then have a first half like we had against Sassuolo.

“There are some players who aren’t aware of the situation, who aren’t responsible, and for this reason we will leave first for the training retreat.

“I don’t like to go on them, but in this case it’s right. The club thinks it’s important to make some people understand the importance of the Juve shirt.

“I don’t like teams who first win and then lose, who go like a yo-yo. We can’t talk about the title, we must only think about Torino, we’re throwing away the chance of winning another Scudetto.

“The message for my teammates is clear: We must respect this shirt. In the first half against Sassuolo we didn’t.

“On Saturday I’m sure that we will give a good performance, at least from an attitude perspective.

“Last year when we played them it was my first match after 50 days out, I suffered a lot from Bruno Peres’ goal. I don’t believe it will be the same this time.”
