Inter’s Mauro Icardi says “every touch of the ball goes in” for him against Juventus and discusses his Capocannoniere title.

The 22-year-old has scored six goals in five games against the Bianconeri and finished joint-top scorer in Serie A last season alongside Luca Toni thanks to his 22 goals.

“Against Juve every time I touch the ball it goes in, I like it and I hope this feeling continues,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

“There isn’t anything better than seeing our fans happy from a goal against Juventus.

“For me it isn’t a weight to have won Capocannoniere. I always sincerely want to do things well.

“A year ago I wouldn’t have expected to score 22 goals, but I admit I had hoped to get to 20.

“On the last day I knew I could win it because Toni has always scored, even against Juventus.

“When I went out on the pitch against Empoli I knew that I needed two goals to stop him and my teammates helped me.”
