Everton have reportedly joined the race to sign Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira.
Accoridng to Calciomercato.it, Everton are considering a move for Torreira after his proposed transfer to Napoli went cold.
The 22-year-old, who will represent Uruguay at the World Cup, has a €25m release clause, and the website notes the Toffees have would no problems paying it.
