Italy have returned to Florence after their win against Spain and will train for the first time today after reaching the UEFA Euro 2020 Final.

The Azzurri beat Spain on penalties in the semis to book a place in the Final.

Sky Sport Italia reports the team returned to Florence at 5 am local time and players are still sleeping at Coverciano, where they will train today for the first time after reaching the Final at the European Championships.

However, those who played at Wembley last night will have most of the day off, while the others will train regularly.

Italy will return to London on Saturday on the eve of the UEFA Euro 2020 Final, where they will meet either England or Denmark.

Many Azzurri reacted on social media to their win against Spain last night.

Leonardo Spinazzola, who picked up an Achilles tendon injury during the quarter-finals against Belgium, celebrated from home, posting the video on Instagram.

Juventus striker Alvaro Morata, who missed the decisive penalty for La Roja wrote that ‘Football can harsh sometimes.’
