The Chilean was at the Biancocelesti’s training ground this week, and it’s believed he has been offered a two-year contract.
Sampaoli has said there is “a very good chance” he’ll end up on the Olimpico bench, but it was reported this morning that Valencia are also keen.

Now Chilean newspaper El Grafico is reporting that the tactician will watch Espanyol’s match with Eibar today, as he considers whether to take over next season.
If Sampaoli goes elsewhere, it's thought former Italy CT Cesare Prandelli is Lazio's second choice.
