Christian Eriksen’s agent Martinus Schoots requests Inter to complete the payment for his mediation in the Dane’s move from Tottenham to Inter.

Eriksen joined the Nerazzurri in a €20m move from Tottenham in January 2020.

Inter gave the player’s agent the mandate to negotiate with Tottenham, agreeing a fee in the region of €7m for his labour, according to several reports in Italy.

Inter are reported to have only paid €1m and the player’s agent has now appealed to CONI Collegio di Garanzia to get the remaining part.

“The Collegio di Garanzia has received an arbitration request from the sports agent Martinus Schoots against the F.C. Internazionale Milano S.p.A., by virtue of a mandate contract, signed on 27 January 2020 with which the aforementioned agent was given the mandate to allow the realisation of the transfer of the player Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur F.C.," CONI's official statement reads.

Eriksen is expected to leave Inter in the January transfer window, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the agent’s request is slowing negotiations down.

According to Calcio e Finanza, Inter have confirmed they will “fulfil all contractual obligations.”
