“The performance against Fiorentina wasn’t as attractive as we’d like, but it was a show of great character and concentration. It was not an easy game to win.
“Tomorrow will be very difficult, as Parma changed coach, bringing back Roberto D’Aversa, who will already know what needs to be done. I feel bad for Fabio Liverani, as he is a friend and a good coach, so I’m sure he’ll be back soon.
“This is an important week with the derby coming up, but we must try to focus on one game at a time. Parma are your classic banana skin of a fixture, we don’t want to slip up. They have excellent players and we need to be ready.”
Today is the 121st anniversary of Lazio’s foundation and Inzaghi was asked what he’d like to give the club as a birthday present.

“Andreas Pereira wants to give his contribution and I am very pleased with the way he is settling in quickly. Clearly, with the forwards currently available, I am trying to use him in a different position. It’s not easy, as there are Luis Alberto and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in midfield.
“We’re waiting for Senad Lulic with arms wide, and clearly the transfer strategy depends largely on his condition.”
