Real Madrid have a two-year buyback option on the 22-year-old, and can bring him back to Bernabeu for €30m this summer.

Despite this, Calciomercato reports interest from the two English sides, but cautions that any potential suitor would have to pay a premium for the Spanish international.

The website believes that the Bianconeri and Los Merengues have agreed an ‘anti-sheikh clause’, which states that Morata’s buyout clause is €80m, to be divided between the two clubs.

If the deal takes place at the end of next season, the Old Lady would reportedly be entitled to two-thirds of that fee.
