Empoli do not want to sell talented full back Fabiano Parisi and they’re planning to tie down the Lazio and Nice target to a new contract.

The 21-year-old Italian left back was a regular feature for the Tuscan side last side, impressing across his 25 Serie A appearances. Parisi is one of many emerging Italian talents and he’s attracted the attention of a number of clubs, both in Italy and abroad.

Speaking to TMW, Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi discussed Parisi and their desire to offer him a contract renewal.

“We don’t want to give him up and we’re working to find a solution all together. He still has three years left on his contract, calmly we’re discussing a fair and deserved contract renewal.”

The 21-year-old Parisi has been linked with moves to Lazio, Fiorentina and Nice in recent months, but ultimately a transfer hasn’t materialised this summer, with the interested parties focusing on other targets.

The Italian left back joined Empoli from Avellino in September 2020 in a deal worth around €500,000, and he now has an estimated market value of around €5m.
