Giovanni Martusciello admits his Empoli side must stop making mistakes ahead of their trip to Sassuolo.
The Azzurri have conceded eight goals in their last two League games, while they were also eliminated from the Coppa Italia in midweek by Serie B outfit Cesena.
“A very important period is starting, we have a cycle of matches that we have to face in the right way,” Martusciello told journalists at a Press conference.
“The strength of our opponents is different, but our focus needs to be on getting as many points as possible.

“I need to think about our reaction to the difficulties we have.”
Martusciello then acknowledged that his team face a difficult task against the Neroverdi, who he believes have suffered due to their participation in the Europa League.
“Sassuolo are very dynamic and quick, maybe they have some little problems but they still have great players.
“The Europa League has probably hindered them a little, we need to do well to take advantage of the chances we have.
“After our defeats, we need to think about cutting out our errors.”
