Empoli are said to be “hours away” from signing Milan midfielder Jose Mauri on a season-long loan.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, an agreement has been reached between Empoli and Milan for Mauri to spend 2016-17 in Tuscany.
The report adds Empoli are now discussing the final details of the 20-year-old’s arrival with his agent Dino Zampacorta.
Mauri joined Milan from Parma last season but has gone on to make just 10 appearances for the Rossoneri.
