Emerson Palmieri has completed his transfer from Roma to Chelsea for a reported €20m plus €6m in bonuses.
The official announcement will be later this evening.
The left-back had arrived at the training ground in the Italian Capital this morning, but then left almost immediately.
He was photographed in London this evening, following a medical, and will wear the Number 33 jersey at Stamford Bridge.
The 23-year-old Brazilian has chosen to play his international football for Italy, having Italian roots.
