John Elkann, the President of Juventus' holding company Exor, has promised to make the team younger and more competitive.
Juventus underwent a comprehensive overhaul of both the playing and technical staff last summer and will continue their efforts once the season ends.
Speaking at a shareholders' meeting, Elkann said: "A change is underway at Juventus which requires time if we are to have a younger and more competitive team.
"The prospects are tied to a big event that will happen this year, namely the inauguration of a new stadium.

"The next meeting will decide our objectives and if there is need of any [financial] support, Exor will be there to give it."
