Stephan El Shaarawy’s agent has ruled out the possibility of the Milan striker being loaned to Genoa.

It was mooted yesterday that the Rossoneri would send the Italian international to the Grifone on loan next season, in the hope they can revive his form as happened with M’Baye Niang.

However, in an exclusive interview with MilanNews, the player’s agent ruled out any such arrangement.

It was mooted yesterday that the Rossoneri would send the Italian international to the Grifone on loan next season, in the hope they can revive his form as happened with M’Baye Niang.

However, in an exclusive interview with MilanNews, the player’s agent ruled out any such arrangement.

“To my knowledge, [joint-CEO Adriano] Galliani has not offered Stephan to Genoa,” Manuel El Shaarawy told the site.

“I haven’t had any proposals from [Genoa President Enrico] Preziosi or Galliani to bring my brother to Genoa.

“I can rule out a move within Italy this summer. There have also been rumours about Udinese and Torino in January, as well as the Rossoblu. All can be excluded as options.

“Stephan will not go to another Italian team.”

While ruling out a move within the peninsula, the agent was not as definitive about a move abroad, is that a possibility?

“I’ve had some requests from abroad, even in January. [But] Stephan is at home with Milan and doesn’t feel the need to leave.

“He has a good relationship with the fans, the club and his teammates.

“We’ll see what happens in the summer though, it depends on whether the Coach [Pippo Inzaghi] will stay, if there will be changes at boardroom level and especially what the club plans to do on the transfer market.

“If Milan were to tell us that Stephan needs to go elsewhere then we’d sit round the table and talk about it.”
