Eusebio Di Francesco will reportedly replace Marco Giampaolo as Coach of Sampdoria on Friday, after his contract with Roma was terminated today.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the tactician will join the Blucerchiati on Friday, signing a three-year deal to become the new Coach at Marassi, after his severance package with the Giallorossi was finalised.

The 49-year-old was sacked by Roma in March after his side were knocked out of the Champions League Round of 16 by Porto.

The former Italy international made his name during a five-year spell at the helm of Sassuolo, where he even oversaw the Neroverdi’s very first European adventure in the 2016-2017 season.

As for Giampaolo, he’ll be appointed Milan boss over the next 24 hours.
