There are growing reports Edin Dzeko could have his Roma medical on Monday after Manchester City agreed a €22m fee.

La Gazzetta dello Sport had already suggested this morning that City had lowered their demands from €30m to €24m.

The Giallorossi had already proposed €18m and are now prepared to offer €20m plus bonuses.

Sport Mediaset insist Dzeko could fly in to Rome for a medical on Monday and ESPN are also backing the story.

He’d arrive just days after Stevan Jovetic made the move to Inter, on loan with a mandatory option to buy.

Roma are closer than they have ever been to snatching Bosnia international Dzeko.

Personal terms had been agreed several weeks ago and the striker reportedly complained to City that they were asking too much for his sale.

He has fallen down the Manchester City pecking order, especially after the arrival of Raheem Sterling from Liverpool.
