Roma striker Edin Dzeko has reportedly become a concrete target for Inter, who might have to replace Romelu Lukaku this summer.

Chelsea are reportedly preparing a new bid to re-sign Lukaku from the Nerazzurri and Inter are looking at possible alternatives to replace the goalscorer.

Sky: Chelsea prepare new bid for Lukaku

The Belgian has been vital under Antonio Conte, but Simone Inzaghi could have to cope without the former Manchester United and Everton man.

And SportItalia reports the Beneamata could look to Roma for his replacement, as Gianluigi Longari claims the club are preparing to make a move for the Bosnia international.

Dzeko has been linked with a move to Inter in recent years and this summer is no different, as Lukaku seems destined to leave San Siro.

The Nerazzurri have reportedly contacted representatives of the 35-year-old, who arrived at Roma from Manchester City in July 2016.

His contract expires in June 2022 and last term he was stripped of the captaincy after a falling out with coach Paulo Fonseca.

Dzeko has scored 119 goals in 260 competitive appearances for the Giallorossi.
