“We have to be ready for Wednesday. It wasn’t easy today either, especially after the red card, but thanks to Alisson we didn’t concede the penalty. It could’ve been different.
“We also should’ve converted more of our chances in the first half.”
Attention now moves to the Champions League semi-final, where Roma must overturn a 5-2 first leg defeat to Liverpool.
“I certainly hope it can be like the Barcelona game… We have to give our all from the start, the stadium will be packed and we’ll do our best. I don’t want to think about the first leg, as it’s better to look forward and we certainly have to do better on home turf.
“We’ll see what happens. The fans will be behind us, just as they were against Barcelona, and we’ll try to put in a great performance.”
The game at Anfield was overshadowed by the attack that left 53-year-old Liverpool supporter Sean Cox in an induced coma with head injuries.
“We are with him and his family. This sort of thing simply doesn’t belong in football.”
