AS reports his condition is not serious and his personal doctor, Leopold Luque, has said he was admitted to hospital due to anaemia.

The report says Luque ruled out that the World Cup winner has contracted coronavirus and denied he is in hospital because of an addiction.

“It was a particular week for him, with a lot of pressure,” Luque said, according to the newspaper. “We’ll see how long he stays in the clinic.

“Diego is fine, he arrived on his own legs and can get up and leave whenever he wants.”
