Borussia Dortmund are not giving up on Mario Mandzukic and will challenge Manchester United for the Juventus striker, claims German newspaper Kicker.

Mandzukic has been ostracised by the club this season, after it was made clear to the 33-year old that he had no future role under Maurizio Sarri.

He was left out of Juve's Champions League squad and hasn't kicked a ball in 2018-19.

Manchester United have been perpetually linked to the Croatian, but now Dortmund have seemingly re-entered the fray, after trying to sign him in the summer.
