The 24-year-old is currently co-owned between Torino and Juventus and, with the Bianconeri not expected to call him back this summer, is seen as likely to move on, after finishing the 2013-14 as Serie A Capocannoniere.

Dortmund have been seen for a number of weeks as heading the queue, but with preliminary talks with Torino reportedly seeing them fall short of the Granata’s valuation for the forward.

However, the Gazzetta dello Sport report today that a turning point may have been reached, with the Germans tabling a €19m bid, to be shared between the Turin clubs.

Juventus have reportedly already given this the go-ahead and it is now seen as down to Torino President Urbano Cairo to accept the deal or not.

Cairo has made it known that he is eager for Toro to pull in at least €10m for their half of Immobile, and the Gazzetta dello Sport believe this latest offer may be enough for him to accept.
