Gigio Donnarumma celebrated PSG’s title victory by posting a picture with his fellow goalkeeper Keylor Navas despite a tense season between the sticks.
The Italy international won the second trophy at a club level in his career yesterday as PSG conquered the Ligue 1 title after a 1-1 draw with Lens. Donnarumma surprised many by posting an Instagram with his teammate Keylor Navas.
The cohabitation between them hasn’t always been easy this term. Donnarumma said in November that the competition with the former Real Madrid star was annoying, while Navas noted last week that he expected things to change starting from 2022-23 as he was fed up about sharing the starting spot with the 23-year-old.
They’ve never publicly admitted that they have personal problems between them, but managing two top-class goalkeepers hasn’t always been easy for Mauricio Pochettino, who also revealed last week that PSG would ‘write a different story’ from next season.
