Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma believes Italy CT Roberto Mancini is ‘right’ in saying Serie A clubs must give more chances to young players.
Mancini made an impassioned plea for Italian sides to cooperate with the Azzurri during a Press conference on Monday, and Donnarumma urged Milan’s rivals to show ‘courage’ in their team selections.
“Mancini is right, more confidence is needed in us young players,” he told Rai Sport.

“Mancini is right, more confidence is needed in us young players,” he told Rai Sport.
“After that, we must be able to show our worth. It takes courage, but you need to be good at exploiting the opportunities you get.
“In training, you have to prove that the Coach is wrong [not to play you]. Coaches also need more courage to start young players.
“I hope to be the starting goalkeeper here, but we’re all excellent goalkeepers and the Coach decides.
“Competition stimulates you a lot more: I’m also experiencing it at Milan with Reina, but it’s not a problem.”
