“I hope that the game against Roma is a good one,” he told a Press conference. “After the game on Sunday I expect Roma to be even more determined that they otherwise would be.

“We are ready though, and will fight them blow-for-blow. The last match against Torino [a 3-1 win] was an important one for us – it gives us confidence psychologically, but has also shown a few things that we can improve on.

“Roma have some great attacking players. It will take a great effort by us to stop them, but I think my boys are ready and willing to show that the last two matches of ours have not been a fluke.

“We want to take this good run on even further.”
