The Ducali have provisionally picked up the final Europa League qualification position to cap a strong campaign that included a club record 17-game unbeaten run.

For their Coach, who has since earned strong links with taking over at Milan, the season is one to remember.

“For us there is the satisfaction, joy and happiness for our having this important season,” Donadoni began to Sky Sport Italia this week.

“I am particularly proud because we have had continuity in our results with Parma and this is definitely a great achievement, and to have gotten into Europe on the field, is something extraordinary.

“We hit an important objective and our players increased in value thanks to their desire and determination to do well.

“This caught the attention of the Commissario Tecnico Prandelli and this is particularly important, as are the [World Cup] calls for Acquah, Obi and Gargano.”
