The Ducali haven’t been paid since July 2014, have gone through three Presidents this season and were placed under administration in March.

Despite all of that, and being docked seven points for financial irregularities, the squad keeps pushing and beat Palermo 1-0 today.

“We are bottom of the table, but I have to say these lads are carrying on what they had always intended for this season,” Coach Donadoni told Rai Sport.

“I am proud. We managed to beat a good team with excellent players who have caught the eye of big clubs.

“We will enjoy this victory, but not rest on our laurels. We want to improve our position in the table, honouring this jersey and our fans.”

Donadoni confirmed the performances have improved considerably since the club was placed under administration, as there are no more broken promises.

“People have to ask themselves how we got to this point. Players are human beings and not robots. Now we have to look to the future with confidence. The rest does not depend on us.”

Parma are seeking a buyer to begin again from Serie B, otherwise the club will be disbanded and have to resume from the amateur Leagues.
