Roberto Donadoni promised Parma “will fight to the end” after scraping a 0-0 draw with Cagliari.

The Ducali earned their first draw of the season after 12 defeats and two victories, but remain at the foot of the table.

“We tried, even if our football wasn’t perhaps as attractive as in previous games when we had lost,” Donadoni told Rai Sport.

“We pick up a point, even if we strongly wanted the victory in this match. The lads are giving their heart and soul for this team, so we wanted to send a sign to the fans and the new President.

“We know full well this is going to be difficult, but we will fight to the end.”

Parma will be sold to Russian-Cypriot investors on Tuesday and it remains to be seen if the new owners want to keep Donadoni.
