Roberto Donadoni says there is no point in Bologna crying over missing players through injury and suspension.

Ahead of the Rossoblu’s trip to Lazio on Sunday, the Emilia-Romagna side will be without Mattia Destro, Daniele Gastaldello and Blerim Dzemaili, the latter two having both been sent off against Genoa a fortnight ago.

“These things happen in football, crying about it does not achieve much,” Donadoni said at a Press conference.

“There is still the opportunity to do well, it depends on us and the opposition. We need to think of ourselves and go there with a lot of determination.”

Donadoni was then asked about his team’s attacking options without the injured Destro and admitted that replacement Sergio Floccari himself lacks match fitness.

“The attack without Destro? Floccari has overcome his problems, he is a good focal point but he doesn’t have minutes in his legs.

“However, he has the experience that will allow him to overcome this.”
