“Now I feel more calm,” Donadoni, a former Milan midfielder, told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Elliott is a serious group, and the return of Leonardo is a positive thing. I’ve considered him an intelligent and well-rounded person since we played together for [Alberto] Zaccheroni’s Milan.

“The fact he speaks five languages shows that he has something extra.”

Donadoni was also asked why he’s never returned to San Siro as Coach.

“Clearly they never thought I was up to it, or thought that others were better than me.”
