Roberto Donadoni says Bologna “need greater conviction in the box” against Inter.

The Rossoblu were held to a 0-0 draw by relegation-battlers Carpi last weekend, and the Coach knows they have to provide more in front of goal against Roberto Mancini’s side.

“We know we're up against a great team,” Donadoni told the Press.

The Rossoblu were held to a 0-0 draw by relegation-battlers Carpi last weekend, and the Coach knows they have to provide more in front of goal against Roberto Mancini’s side.

“We know we're up against a great team,” Donadoni told the Press.

“Now they're finding continuity, and they have some pretty ambitious objectives.

“It'll be good and stimulating to face up to a team like inter. We go there with fierce determination, with the confidence that we've been building up with our work.

“But we need greater conviction in the box and we need to seek out the goal. Inter won't give us many opportunities and we have to take them when we can.

“We aren't conceding many goals, so our defence is satisfying. But we fail to capitalise on our attacking opportunities, we're a little too complacent.

“We need more movement. We can't wait for the ball in the box, we need to create our own chances, even when the balls coming in are not very accurate.

“We're already looking ahead to the next season. We're doing a good job of planning things in advance.

“I have a good relationship with Roberto Mancini, we were opponents on the pitch and teammates in the national team. He was extremely talented.

“Perhaps he came a bit short of expectations with the Azzurri, but as a player he was fantastic.”
