Lucas Digne is “happy” Stephan El Shaarawy has joined Roma, and names Francesco Totti as his favourite player.
The French left-back joined the Giallorossi from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, while El Shaarawy has also arrived from Ligue 1 after a disappointing loan spell at Monaco.
“El Shaarawy? He’s very good, he’s scored two goals in two games, we’re happy that he’s come,” Digne said, visiting a school as part of the Roma Cares initiative.

One of the children asked Digne who his favourite player was, and the French international named Lupi captain Francesco Totti.
