The Argentinean star had landed in Turin last night and arrived at the J Medical early this morning to undergo his medical with the Old Lady. He will likely sign a one-year deal at the Allianz Stadium, with an option for another season.
He is not the only big name moving to Italy as Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic will be in Florence for his medical checks with Fiorentina. The Tuscans get the Serbia international on a free transfer for two years. The striker will get a payout from Madrid and will sign a €2.5m-a-year deal in Florence.
The deal comes with a €50% sell-on clause for the Merengues and an option for the striker to extend for two more seasons at €5m per year. Jovic will cross paths with Fiorentina’s new goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini, who is also in town to complete an initial loan move with an obligation to buy from Atalanta.
