The agent representing Monza goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio responds to reports of Juventus, Napoli and Inter approaches. ‘We’ll discover where he is going soon.’

The shot-stopper impressed last season at Monza and again this term, although he has suffered from some injury problems.

While Inter and Napoli had already been linked, today Tuttosport suggested that Juventus have identified Di Gregorio as the ideal heir to Wojciech Szczesny.

“He is ready for a top club,” agent Carlo Alberto Belloni told Sportitalia.

“We will discover where he is going soon, over the next few months.”

Di Gregorio is a product of the Inter youth academy and joined Monza for €4m following promotion in 2022.

His value on the transfer market has since soared to circa €20m and it seems unlikely that the club will be able to keep him at the U-Power Stadium for much longer.

Di Gregorio will turn 27 in July and has also played for Renate, Avellino, Novara and Pordenone before the move to Monza, initially on loan in September 2020.

He has kept 11 clean sheets in 22 Serie A matches so far this season.
