Eusebio Di Francesco feels Sassuolo have turned a corner after holding Juventus and beating Parma 3-1.
“We did well, imposed our style of play on the home team and frankly wasted too many chances to get a bigger scoreline,” the Coach told Rai Sport.
“We are happy, as we gave a sense of consistency to our draw with Juventus and have to continue on this path.
“The three points give us a boost and pay us back for some big disappointments, as at this stage we probably deserved several better results.”
As with last season, Sassuolo took a long time to get into gear and conceded seven goals against Inter.
“Those games can happen to anyone, as we saw with Roma against Bayern Munich. You can have an off day.
“We were able to put that behind us, which wasn’t easy, but this victory repays us for that match against Inter too.”
