Lecce boss Eusebio Di Francesco has been warned that he may be playing to keep his job against Napoli this weekend.

The Salentini are bottom of the Serie A table after picking up just eight points from 12 games this season.

The Stadio Via Del Mare outfit have so far backed the former Pescara Coach, but that may change if they are defeated at the San Paolo.

“If we lose to Napoli then I don’t know what decisions may be taken,” Lecce President Giovanni Semeraro told Radio CRC.

“We are bottom and we haven’t found the right shape.

“We still haven’t been able to understand what is not working which is stopping us from collecting the points we need.

“Perhaps it might be some tactical indecision or the youthfulness and inexperience of our players.”

Di Francesco, a former midfielder with Roma and Italy, was appointed by the club in the summer after Gigi De Canio left by mutual consent.
