Sassuolo earned a historic first Serie A point and Eusebio Di Francesco believes it’s “a turning point” for today with Lazio.

The newly-promoted club held Napoli to a shock 1-1 draw at the Stadio San Paolo on Wednesday evening, ending Rafa Benitez’s 100 per cent record.

The Neroverdi now host Lazio this afternoon at 14.00 UK time (13.00 GMT). Click here for a match preview.

“It will be a difficult game, but then in Serie A there’s no such thing as an easy one,” said Coach Di Francesco.

“We want to build on the good draw with Napoli, as we are fired up and I want to see the same motivation that fuelled us on Wednesday night.

“Did we deserve to win at the San Paolo? The same was true of other games this season, but it’s a valuable point and we’ll cling to it.

“Regardless of the tactical system we adopt, our approach will always be pro-active and attacking. Without hunger and determination, no system will work.

“We know the draw with Napoli could be a turning point and we need another against Lazio.”

Sassuolo’s injury list has been extended, as Luca Antei joined Carl Valeri, Luca Marrone, Emanuele Terranova, Marcello Gazzola and Alberto Gomes.

Sassuolo squad for Lazio: Pegolo, Pomini, Rosati, Acerbi, Bianco, Longhi, Marzorati, Pucino, Rossini, Ziegler, Chibsah, Kurtic, Laribi, Magnanelli, Missiroli, Schelotto, Alexe, Berardi, Farias, Floro Flores, Masucci, Zaza
